Worms are massive, segmented creatures of voracious appetite. By rhythmically vibrating their bodies, they are able to propel themselves through sand at remarkable speeds. Furthermore, as worms possess no developmental apex, they simply grow bigger the longer they live, making size a clear indication of age.
